Web App & PWA
The web app is the main access point for StoryVault. It runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — on desktop and mobile devices.
Progressive Web App (PWA)
Section titled “Progressive Web App (PWA)”On a smartphone, you can install StoryVault as an app on your home screen. It then behaves like a regular app — with its own icon, without a browser bar.
Installation on iPhone (Safari)
Section titled “Installation on iPhone (Safari)”- Open app.storyvault.eu in Safari
- Tap the Share icon (square with arrow pointing up)
- Select “Add to Home Screen”
- Confirm with “Add”
Installation on Android (Chrome)
Section titled “Installation on Android (Chrome)”- Open app.storyvault.eu in Chrome
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
- Select “Install App” or “Add to Home Screen”
- Confirm with “Install”

Recorder in the Browser
Section titled “Recorder in the Browser”The built-in recorder works directly in the browser — for audio, camera, and screen recordings (screen only on desktop). The first time, the browser will ask for microphone and camera permission.
