Search

The more sessions you have, the more important search becomes. And this is where one of StoryVault’s great strengths shows: search doesn’t just cover titles and descriptions, but also the complete transcript text. You can search for a specific word that came up in a meeting three weeks ago — and StoryVault finds the exact passage.

  1. Open the search field

Click the search field in the top bar. You can also use the keyboard shortcut to open search directly.

  2. Enter a search term

Type at least two characters. Search starts automatically.

  3. Browse results

The results page shows matches by category: All, Projects, Sessions, Transcripts, Chats. Switch between tabs to filter specifically.

  4. Jump to result

Click on a match to go directly to the corresponding session, project, or chat.

  • Minimum length: Search terms must be at least 2 characters long.
  • Ranking: Transcript matches are ranked higher than title matches because they are typically more specific. Within a category, more recent results appear first.
  • Archived content: Archived sessions and projects do not appear in search results by default. Only active content is searched.
  • Deleted content: Sessions in the trash are not searched.
