Search
The more sessions you have, the more important search becomes. And this is where one of StoryVault’s great strengths shows: search doesn’t just cover titles and descriptions, but also the complete transcript text. You can search for a specific word that came up in a meeting three weeks ago — and StoryVault finds the exact passage.
What Gets Searched?

How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”-
Open the search field
Click the search field in the top bar. You can also use the keyboard shortcut to open search directly.

Enter a search term
Type at least two characters. Search starts automatically.

Browse results
The results page shows matches by category: All, Projects, Sessions, Transcripts, Chats. Switch between tabs to filter specifically.

Jump to result
Click on a match to go directly to the corresponding session, project, or chat.
Search Notes
Section titled “Search Notes”- Minimum length: Search terms must be at least 2 characters long.
- Ranking: Transcript matches are ranked higher than title matches because they are typically more specific. Within a category, more recent results appear first.
- Archived content: Archived sessions and projects do not appear in search results by default. Only active content is searched.
- Deleted content: Sessions in the trash are not searched.
